PROFILE

  • Born and raised in Munich, with 11 years of classical piano training, self-taught in blues and jazz.
  • As a teenager, gained band and tour experience, including a record deal and CD production with BMG Ariola. 
  • From 1992 to 2005, worked as a freelance creative, arranger, composer, and sound engineer 'against his will' for the renowned TV composer Michael Hofmann de Boer ("Die Rosenheim Cops"; "Das Traumhotel"): arrangement and co-composition for more than 30 TV movies, a few hundred TV series episodes, around 20 product films, and CD productions.

Since 2005, independent music production with a wide-ranging spectrum:

  • Composition of film music

  • Arrangements/Production for advertising (including several years for Lindt chocolate) 
  • Musical (Arrangement and production of music for the musicals “Heidi”, “Scrooge,” and “Bambi” by and with Michael Schanze)

Productions:

  • Since 2013, freelance associate at Leslie Mandocki's RedRock-Productions as a composer and later as a company representative at around 20 international auto show events (Frankfurt, Geneva, Paris, Amsterdam, Beijing, Shanghai, Detroit).
  • Since 2018, intermittent collaboration with film composer Gert Wilden, working on various TV productions and two films for cinema, "Kroos" (2019) and "Last Contact" (2023).
